Accredited Online Universities with Their Respective Scholarships
Accredited online universities are easy to come by if you know where to look and what to search for. The good news is that along with these universities are scholarships that you can take advantage of. In fact, there are a lot of scholarships offered for distance learning and some universities and programs are even offered for free.
There are different kinds of online universities that you can choose of, depending on the programs you want to take and the tuition fees and requirements they have. But if you are in search of scholarships, you can also either choose a university that offers scholarships you are qualified of or look for scholarships then find compatible online universities you can apply that particular scholarship with.
Online classes are highly varied depending on the program and schools. Programs are designed based on their specializations like Computer Science, Engineering, and Business Administrations. Some of the schools offering programs for free or with scholarships include University of the People, Central Christian College of the Bible, Alice Lloyd College, Curtis Institute of Music, and Haskell Indians Nation University.
University of the People is a tuition-free and non-profit online university that is accredited by the Distance Education and Training Council. The university is located in Pasadena, California, and offers Bachelor’s and Associate programs for Computer Science and Business Administration. And these programs can benefit students all over the world through these accredited online universities. Students would be required fee for exams, ranging from $20 to $100, which can be applied with scholarships.
Central Christian College of the Bible is a college in Moberly, Missouri, that offers full-tuition scholarships to several Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees. It is limited though to Christian or Religious-related degrees. And the college has been accredited by the Association for Biblical Higher Education.
Another college that can aid you financially for your online classes is the Alice Lloyd College. This College is located in Pippa Passe, Kentucky and offers free tuition to residents of West Virginia, Virginia, Ohio, Tennessee, and Kentucky. Students must be employed though to qualify through the student work program in the local community or on-campus itself. Work load should be 10 hours a week to qualify.
Curtis Institute of Music is also one of those accredited online universities. The university is looking musically-inclined and exceptional gifted students who can qualify for the scholarships it offers. Students who qualify for the scholarship can benefit without having to pay around $60,000 to $75,000 annually.
And finally, another school to support your online classes is the Haskell Indian Nations University. The school is tuition-free but would require semestral fees, which can also be supported by scholarships.
